Events & pop-ups
El Gringo started as a series of pop-ups in 2023 before securing our first location in downtown Kingston. Since then, we've partnered with Lay Low, Tommy's, Dianne's, and Nightowl, to expand our pop-ups and event collabs to bring fresh menus and new concepts to each of these local legends. LayLow Cafe
This one had it all: a packed house, custom cocktails, dj, and birria on tap. El Gringo took over this cozy Princess st. brunch spot transforming it into a thumping cantina.
Diannes Fish shack
This one was epic. We took over this legendary fish spot with a special seafood inspired food and drink menu that was all El Gringo. The lineup was down the block. Cinco de Mayo will never be the same.
Tommy's
This one was all vibes. For our Tommy's collab we flipped this historic diner spot with a food and drink menu that featured new tacos, tortas, and classic margaritas from 6-2am. There was a lot of eating and even more dancing on our first stop of the hub tour.
